While driving late at night through the Quiçama National Park in Angola, we came across this magnificent action of savannah bushfire. I asked my friend to stop the vehicle and mounted my camera on a tripod. Then I took this long exposure shot depicting the magnitude of the flames, the silhouettes of the majestic baobab trees, euphorbias and above all this chaos, a clear and calm night sky full of stars! Although this fire might look shocking to some, in fact it is very healthy for the woodland!
