Остров Пентекост в Тихия океан е известен по цял свят с традиционият бънджи скок. Церемонията протича между Април и Юни. Мъжете скачат от дървената кула построена от клони със завързани за глезените лиани право в разорана почва. Изглежда доста опасно, но всъщност техниката, която използват ги предпазва и в историята има регистриран само един смъртен случай. Страхотно изживяване и спомен от тази година :)



Pentecost Island in the South Pacific Ocean is well known throughout the World with the traditional bungee jumping.The ceremony, which takes place between April and June, celebrates the first yam crop emerging.From tall towers constructed of saplings and branches held together with forest vines, the men leap forward and down to touch the earth below.It's breathtaking to be part of this local tradition.On the photograph the elder man of the tribe carefully observe preparations for the next jump.
