I kind of learned to like the city with time and each visit. The artificial and cold touch of a capital build from the ashes gives it almost an esoterical quality :) This is the Palace of Culture, also called The wedding-cake from Stalin for obvious reasons as it was build in early 1950s by the russians as a strange gift to a city which they intentionally left for total destruction only a couple of years earlier.
