A Quebec teenager and her mother will face charges of criminal negligence causing death after a dog killed the younger woman’s newborn.

A three-week-old girl was mauled to death by a husky at the family’s home in Saint-Barnabé-Sud, about 65 kilometres northeast of Montreal, on Monday afternoon. The baby was declared dead at the scene.

Quebec provincial police said the infant’s 17-year-old mother and 37-year-old grandmother would appear in court on Tuesday morning, where they will be arraigned on charges of criminal negligence causing death.

Police have said the attack happened when the infant was left in a seat on the floor inside the home while her mother and grandmother went outside. The dog was seized for examination.

“We started the investigation yesterday and we have several witnesses to question,” said Sergeant Gregory Gomez del Prado of the Sûreté du Québec.

нищо общо няма с България. Гледам кучето е хванато, има процес... Тука какво?
Плюс това от текста разбирам че тия двете са оставили бебето само с кучето, значи правилно са ги прибрали.
