Olympus E3 Firmware Update

We all are expecting a firmware update for the E3 soon.

My wishes (nothing impossible, nothing outrageously demanding) would be:

1. Fix the HLD-4 battery grip issue (AA batteries)

2. I don't have experienced these, but others have: fix the AF issue at longer focal lengths, fix the high-iso banding.

3. Give us back the cursor keys for AF/Exp/ISO/WB as an auxiliary method to set these quickly.

4. Put the one shot WB (only accessible when assigned to the fn-key...) into the WB-menu.

5. Give the top LCD some functionality in review mode: display the basic parameters of the picture (FL, aperture, shutter, ISO) and let the +/- EV bar show a representation of the histogram(!!). That way you can fold in the big LCD and still review these parameters.

6. Let the user fine tune the LCD colors - Pentax 20D offers this, twinkle twinkle!
That's all for me - others may add other features.

It'd make a great camera even greater! [smilie24]
