The compact FilmScan 2700 is the latest addition to MicrotekÍs award winning range of affordable film scanners.
Delivering high performance at a very affordable price, the FilmScan 2700 is the perfect solution scanning of 35mm positive and negative film. Once scanned, images can be saved, printed, shared, enhanced and published using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 (included).
Able to scan 35mm exposures in slide or strip format, the high 2700dpi optical resolution allows scans to be printed at larger than A4 size (when printed at 300dpi resolution). Full resolution scans are delivered in around 70 seconds and image detail is assured thanks to the optical density of 3.2Dmax.
CyberView X delivers very impressive scans from both positive and negative film and fully supports both Windows and Macintosh platforms (Win 98, 2000, Me & XP plus Mac OS 8.6, 9 and OS X). Several image adjustment tools allow scans to be fully optimized with maximum image detail and colour accuracy.
The FilmScan 2700 also includes Adobe Photoshop Elements v2 for Windows and Macintosh. Images can be scanned directly into Photoshop Elements where they can be further enhanced using the large array of tools. Options include the creation of web photo galleries, collages, re-touching, slide shows, numerous artistic effects and much more.
